Hotel Seegarten

Great hotel with a fantastic swimming pool. Very nice relaxation rooms by the pool and sauna. Excellent service in the restaurant, great menus that change with the seasons. Very nice, friendly staff.

We spent a weekend in one of the renovated rooms in the main building and wholeheartedly recommend the hotel. Particularly noteworthy are: - The staff: Perfect service, whether at reception or in the restaurant, coupled with great warmth. For example, at breakfast, the owner not only asked if everything was alright, but also told me that if I wanted anything else that wasn't offered, she would bring it to me. - The food. We enjoy fine dining. Breakfast, and especially dinner, were of exceptional quality. We highly recommend the excellent set menu with wine pairings. Every course was an explosion of flavor. We found the pricing to be fair. It's also great that the cuisine is regional and sustainable. So, a big compliment to the kitchen team! - The room: Very clean and tastefully furnished. Many thoughtful touches, such as a high-quality coffee machine with sustainable, unpackaged coffee pods. - The spa area: Clean and stylish with a great view of the lake. It was just a little too crowded for our liking. Perhaps you could mention the additional lounge on the 3rd floor, which we only learned about after our departure. - The location right on the lake is also very nice. We went hiking and have definitely done much nicer tours (little variety, lots of asphalt). Perhaps it was due to our choice of route and not the area itself. And the hotel has no control over that. We will definitely come back.

We spontaneously stayed overnight yesterday. Everything was great and exactly as described. The breakfast is highly recommended. So much choice, but quality over quantity. We would especially like to thank Olaf Baumeister, who, despite the late hour (11:00 PM), prepared a snack for us and made our stay even more enjoyable with his friendly and humorous manner. We would love to come back.
