I’ve booked this hotel during festival in Penang and the price was so expensive. The room condition was just ok. The bedsheets and towels were so old and very strong smell of washing chemicals. The air conditioner was good. The cleanliness of the room should have been improved. There’re dust on the table and floor. The bathroom was ok but there’s broken tiles, couldn’t barefoot to use toilet. The amenities were not well provided. The front officers were out of standard of service-minded fundamental. They really didn’t care if you were waiting at counter for what purpose. They would talk to you only when they wanted. But when you bought things at hotel shelf they would immediately talk to you. Never greeting any customers since I’ve observed. The best staffs were at restaurant for breakfast. They gave service with smile. They talked politely and kept table and area clean all the time. The breakfast was not much but ok for filling tummy in the morning. The hotel located near food market but if you’re looking for tourist attractions, it’s not near. The best way to travel around if you don’t drive there is calling Grab. I hope the hotel management will see my messages and take action for better improvements. If for now for me I’d never definitely return.
