Book here because need parking. Good thing: Overall the parking is RM6 per entry, can ask staff to validate when u want to go out. The card is validate for 10 minutes. For not in-house guest, is maximum RM20 per day. The ventilation in bathroom is good, hot water supply is enough. Bad things: The staff: overall the staff is not friendly, i met i reception which blame me for looking her to change water heater. She said the words with a smile on face but i felt frustrated,she is supposed not to rude to customer. I am there because the phone cant call reception and i have to go down myself to change the rusting water heater. So dissappointed with the female reception duty about 10 pm on 3 January 2026. I am not asking every staff need to keep on smiling to every guest but the reception really piss me off. Only another female staff i met on 3rd January 2026 about 12pm, she is very understanding and helpful. Check-in takes long time. i saw other guest share their room's photo, so i think they didn't even prepared my room, so my room is quite terrible, old, no "do not disturb" tag. The bathroom and toilet share the same door with no lock. Overall, you can park your car here, and went to other hotel which is better. I came to brickfields about 2-3 times a year and i think there are better choices hotel.

We missed our train and made a last minute booking here. Upon checkin in, i was greeted by Receptionist Azuin. There's a lot going on even at 12 am in the night. But she handled it like a pro. She provided me warm and soothing services which somehow lessen the bitterness that i felt. While for the room, the view was amazing! Important utilies are present. Location was pretty good too (if you find the shortcut through an alleyway to Nu sentral. Eventhough it is a short stay, we are glad we choose to rest our mind at Hotel sentral

One of the issues I encountered was with the phone in my room, which was not working. I had to run down to the reception to inform them, which was a bit of an inconvenience. A working phone in the room would be a basic amenity that I would expect from any hotel. Another issue I noticed was the shower door, which did not have a lock. This was a bit of a concern, especially when I was getting ready for my shower. It's not exactly the most comfortable feeling knowing that the door can be easily opened while you're in the shower. Despite these issues, I would still recommend Hotel Sentral Kuala Lumpur to those who are looking for a very budget-friendly hotel to stay in. The location is convenient, and the prices are reasonable. However, I would caution that the hotel is clearly not trying to compete with the higher-end hotels in the area. Overall, I would like to give Hotel Sentral Kuala Lumpur 3 stars out of 5. However, when I am writing this review while waiting for 2 fresh clean towels to do my shower before check-out, I was told there will be no fresh towels on check-out day. And I was only informed after running down to the reception the 3rd time after waiting for 40 minutes when the towels have not arrived. This is not the worst hotel I've stayed at, it's not the best either. With this incident, I have to downgrade from 3 stars to 2 two stars. If you're looking for a place to crash for the night without breaking the bank, Hotel Sentral Kuala Lumpur might be a good option. However, if you're looking for a more luxurious experience, you might want to look elsewhere.
