This hotel is located just off Las Ramblas. It's a great location for first-time visitors to Barcelona. I stayed at this hotel for eight nights. My room was on the seventh floor with a balcony. It was just the right size for a solo traveler, and I loved the view of the cathedral from the balcony. The room lacked many amenities, which was a pain to have to ask reception for each one. The reception staff were also often overbearing, which often left me feeling uncomfortable. I've stayed in dozens of four-star hotels in Barcelona, but I was truly disappointed with the reception service. One day, the balcony window was left open after cleaning, and I told reception to make sure it was closed, but it was open again the next day. I was very annoyed, but I didn't say anything because it was tiring. Thankfully, the man at the bar where I received my welcome drink was very kind. I think this hotel is perfect for beginner travelers. I was really surprised when the man who came to adjust the TV in my room left the toilet open on the front floor while he was using it. I don't think that's even possible. Please be careful.
