Overall it was OK. That’s why it’s a 3. The biggest plus was the shuttles. It runs on a schedule so read the schedule if you are flying into SFO. I stayed one night and it was comfortable. Not luxurious but overall clean. They provide decent toiletries. Hallway carpets could be cleaned. I wasn’t able to stay for the complimentary breakfast due to an early flight.

The staff went above and beyond to help us with our very late night check in, changing our room so we could sleep in (their idea), storing our bags between check out and airport shuttle time plus providing a restroom allowing us to change outfits before our long haul flight. The room was clean, tidy and functional. We are so grateful for the wonderful service at Hotel Skye!

This is one of the very few times I feel compelled to write a Google review, but this experience was extremely disappointing. I checked in around 6 PM. According to the online listing, the hotel advertised EV charging, which was one of the reasons I booked. However, upon arrival, I discovered the charger was only providing $0.6 kW, which is roughly the same speed as nearby public chargers averaging around $0.4 kW, but at a higher price. For a “hotel charger,” this offered no real advantage and was misleading to advertise. The soundproofing was terrible. I could clearly hear noises from outside and neighboring rooms throughout the night. On top of that, the room type I received was not the same as what I booked on Expedia, which was very frustrating. Honestly, calling this place a “hotel” is generous — it felt much more like a motel. When I entered the room, it was not clean, and the floor was swollen and damaged. Later that night, I placed some clothes on the floor before sleeping. Around midnight, the air conditioning unit started leaking water, soaking the floor. Since I was on a road trip, my clothes were left wet for the next day. Even worse, water sprayed onto the bed, leaving half of the bed completely soaked. Because of this, I had no choice but to urgently check out early the next morning and move to a nearby Marriott hotel, where the difference in quality was night and day. This is genuinely one of the worst lodging experiences I’ve had. I am writing this review as a warning to others — if you are considering staying here, please be extremely cautious.
