Despite being a 5-star hotel, there's no large outdoor parking area because they've used all the land for construction right up to the street. The room decor is okay, but the bathtub overflowed onto the floor, requiring many towels to soak up the mess, which was inconvenient and messy. The breakfast was terrible, incredibly disappointing. The selection was meager and the flavors bland. For example, the soup only contained a few shredded carrots, some sliced mushrooms, and an egg. The seasoning was also very tasteless. In short, the food was utterly unappetizing…

Rooms great, location great, team great, lobby cafe great. The pool, gym and spa are dystopian - hard to believe they're in the same hotel. The level of decay and neglect there is most unexpected after such a positive first impression elsewhere. In the photos you'll see how the paint on the pool floor has dissolved into the water. The shape and size preclude any effective cardio, but the water is too cold for leisurely wallowing. Despite the high standard of finish in the rooms, sleep quality was very low due to the poor sound insulation. Traffic, screams from the rollercoasters across the road and large-scale techno music events on the coast are all easily audible all night.
