Hotel Spa Du Beryl

We stayed one night at the Spa du Béryl (January 11-12). While some aspects of our stay were very pleasant, the overall experience was significantly impacted by an unacceptable lack of tranquility for an establishment of this caliber. The positive points: We would like to highlight the excellent service from the restaurant staff. A special thank you to the breakfast team, who were incredibly attentive, professional, and always smiling. These convivial moments were the highlight of our stay. The major drawback: Unfortunately, our night was completely ruined by an extremely noisy seminar. The noise began around 10 p.m. and continued until around 4 a.m., both under our windows and in the hallways. We were unable to get a wink of sleep. Our feelings about the handling of the incident: Although the hotel is not directly responsible for the behavior of the participants, we feel we are collateral victims of a management decision: mixing a festive seminar clientele with a "traditional" clientele seeking relaxation. Upon our departure, we were offered a gesture of goodwill (a small bottle of champagne). While we appreciate the intention, we believe this compensation falls far short of the inconvenience suffered. A sleepless night in a hotel designed for relaxation is a major breach of the promise of a stay. In our opinion, such an unpleasant experience warrants a complimentary invitation to return, allowing us to experience the true quality of your services in the peaceful atmosphere we came seeking.

As mentioned in several reviews, the spa isn't very hot, but it's acceptable. However, the nighttime table service was extremely unprofessional (forgotten orders, long waits without any assurance of being served), which detracted from the overall experience in this otherwise pleasant place. I would recommend it for a weekend.

An excellent stay at this spa hotel. Ideally located in the city center, facing the lake. A spacious and comfortable room. A restaurant with a very good chef. A calm and pleasant spa area (pool, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam). Only 4 stars for the service because the pool lacks handrails on the stairs (the steps are too high to hold onto). My wife, who has fibromyalgia and difficulty walking, was unable to use it. Fortunately, the jacuzzi is accessible with a handrail. She was very happy there.
