Extremely Unpleasant and Unsanitary Stay I had a very disturbing experience at this hotel and would not recommend it. When we checked out, we discovered a used vape device inside our bed, between the sheets, where we had slept the entire night. Finding a foreign object in the bedding was absolutely disgusting. I had been experiencing skin irritation throughout the night, and realizing there was an unclean item left under the covers made me feel sick. I am now seeking medical care to determine whether this is contact dermatitis or an allergic reaction. To make matters worse, when we first checked into the room and looked out the window, there was a used needle visible on the exterior window ledge/shield. This immediately raised serious concerns about safety and sanitation. When we calmly brought these issues to the front desk, the response was deeply disappointing. Rather than showing urgency or concern, staff repeatedly insisted that this “could not be possible,” claiming the room had been vacant since Thursday and suggesting they would check cameras to see whether housekeeping removed the sheets. The focus seemed to be on defending procedures rather than addressing the seriousness of what we experienced. No immediate remediation or meaningful action was offered. It took an unreasonably long time for anyone to apologize, and even then, it felt reluctant rather than sincere. At no point did I feel that my health, comfort, or safety were taken seriously. This was an incredibly unpleasant stay and left me feeling uncomfortable, dismissed, and unsafe. Clean bedding and basic sanitation should be non-negotiable at any hotel. I am extremely disappointed.

The front desk gave me the key to a room that was occupied. I walked in on people who were in bed and the gentleman was shocked and scared as was I. I apologized and went back to the front desk. They apologized about the mistake, said they would comp the room, and gave me another room. The other room was dirty, had stains all over the carpets, the shower didn’t work, and there were hairs from someone who stayed there before all over the place. I was supposed to get a call from the manager but he never called. I called the hotel and spoke to him. He was argumentative, condescending, defensive, unapologetic, did not care about what happened, and said the front desk doesn’t have authority to comp rooms. He then refused to tell me the name or contact information for his supervisor. I got the email for the GM and emailed them about the issue last week and have not heard anything back about the situation.
