I stayed here for one night, and unfortunately, my experience was anything but positive. Upon arrival, I had parked my car in front of the hotel. The gentleman at the front desk said it wasn't a problem and that he would overlook it. To my surprise, I was woken up around 4 a.m. and told I had to move my car or face a 50-euro fine. I found this very strange; initially, it was approved, but then I was woken up. My sleep was completely disrupted. Checking out was also unpleasant. The receptionist (a blonde woman with glasses) completely ignored me. She helped the guests before me, but when it was my turn, she simply said she needed to go to her colleague. Then she stood there, occasionally glancing our way, but did nothing. We waited for at least ten minutes without any explanation. When I asked if we would be helped, she responded passive-aggressively, saying, "Didn't I tell you I'd help my colleague?" At the end, I tried to give her feedback that she seemed unfriendly, to which she told me I should be more patient, since she was standing with her colleague. I find that extremely unprofessional. As a guest, you should be treated with respect, regardless of what's going on internally. For a hotel that presents itself as a four-star hotel and looks neat on the outside, you expect a completely different attitude from the staff. All in all: not recommended. There are plenty of hotels in this price range that do take hospitality seriously.

After a supposed "upgrade" from a standard room to a comfort room, the receptionist misinterpreted the comfort room as the standard room. Furthermore, I can report that room 9 smelled very musty yesterday and had damp stains on the bathroom ceiling. Mold is present. Hygiene: 0/10. After reporting this to reception, they said they would send someone. No one was seen, and no alternative or compensation was offered. Not recommended.

Our stay at Hotel Stiemerheide was fantastic! The staff were very friendly, we received a warm welcome, and everything was taken care of down to the last detail. We felt truly welcome – highly recommended!
