I had a fantastic first experience at this hotel (I feel it's only right to say so) and an embarrassing second experience. I even tried writing a confidential email to the hotel manager about this last experience, but having received no response from him for over a week, I decided to make this email public, if it can be saved here (it's quite long). In case this email can't be published in its entirety, I'll summarize the event as briefly as possible: At check-in, I asked to have dinner at the hotel, informing them of my adverse health conditions. I was told that I would receive confirmation of dinner availability as soon as possible, but after about 2 hours, I still hadn't received any communication. When I asked, I was simply told that dinner at the hotel wasn't available, without offering any alternative given my adverse health conditions, other than going to the hotel bar for something hot. When I called the bar, they told me they couldn't even get what I wanted, but they could offer a cup of plain hot milk if I could pay the €5.50 in cash for the order. Otherwise, they couldn't charge it to my hotel bill, nor could they pay by credit card. I'll leave it to the reader to decide, but I'd be remiss if my health conditions were, unfortunately, extremely precarious at the time. Now I'll try to paste my full email to the hotel manager here:

I'm having a mud bath experience for hip problems, and I can only say it's excellent. The mud is brought in baskets, so the mud arrives thick and at the right temperature. The sheets aren't plastic, but hemp. Getting up every morning to go and do the mud bath isn't a burden. On the contrary, the staff are very kind and, in my opinion, efficient. The guy who looks after me is very knowledgeable. Well done.

I stayed there as a day guest at the pool. The place is poorly maintained for the price. The thermal grotto is decidedly dirty and smells of mold. There was no hair dryer available to dry my and my daughter's long hair. The one in the bathrooms (only one) stopped working at some point; it was a Barbie-sized hair dryer. If you go, bring a hairdryer or you don't want to go home with a wet head.
