We stayed for a weekend at the Hotel Roma in Abano Terme with our three-year-old son, and the overall experience was very positive. The hotel is located right in the city center, making it extremely convenient, and also offers parking. The furnishings are a bit dated and not entirely modern, but overall the hotel offers excellent value for money. The rooms are tidy and clean. Even the rooms, while not brand new, are well-presented, spacious, and well-designed. One much-appreciated feature is the comfortable beds, which come with two pillows per person, a detail that isn't always a given and also eliminates the need to request additional ones. One small drawback concerns the bathroom: instead of a shower, there's a bathtub, which may be less comfortable, for example, for those with mobility issues. We took advantage of the half-board option, with dinner and breakfast in the dedicated room. The food was very good, carefully presented, and with a good variety of choices. The buffet is rich and high-quality, although it can sometimes feel a bit crowded and could perhaps be better distributed throughout the spaces, as is the case during breakfast. Breakfast deserves a special mention: it was truly excellent and varied. Regarding the pool area, although not very large, it is well-organized and we didn't feel particularly crowded. The pool stays open until 11:00 PM, allowing us to use it even after dinner, finding it almost empty, making it even more enjoyable. We were able to use it with our three-year-old child. Diving is not permitted, but it's still possible to swim freely, and the water is very warm and comfortable. We didn't have the opportunity to visit the spa and wellness center, as it's not accessible to minors and because our stay was short. A special thanks goes to the staff: throughout our stay, they were welcoming, helpful, and always smiling, from arrival to departure. This is far from a given and helps make our stay even more enjoyable.
