I had training on Monday, which I knew about several months in advance, so I arrived the day before from Chiba Prefecture and was able to book a Sunday-only plan that included one night's accommodation with two meals and free parking, which was a great deal. Dinner seemed to be a small course meal. The training finished before noon, so parking remained free. However, even though it was mid-March, it was hot at night and difficult to sleep despite the heating being turned off.

One of the best hotel experiences I have had in Ibaraki. I stayed at Hotel The West Hills Mito during a business trip, and the hospitality was truly exceptional. As a vegetarian, it can sometimes be difficult to find suitable meal options while traveling in Japan. However, the hotel staff went above and beyond. My team requested a pure vegetarian lunch and dinner, and the hotel specially prepared delicious vegetarian meals for me. The food was excellent and thoughtfully prepared, which I really appreciated. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the service was professional, and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. Their effort to arrange a special vegetarian meal made my stay even more memorable. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers visiting Ibaraki. I would definitely love to stay here again.
