HOTEL THERME BAD TEINACH

We booked a package deal (Black Forest Days) for a family vacation, including half-board and coffee and cake at lunchtime. It was absolutely perfect! The hotel is a bit older, but it has a real 4-star feel (everything is very spacious, plenty of common areas on each floor, and beautiful grounds that flow directly into the spa gardens). The rooms are very nice and spacious (some have been recently renovated). The hotel is ideal for relaxing, taking a break, and enjoying yourself. We were there with a 2.5-year-old child. Although the hotel isn't specifically designed for toddlers, it's manageable if everyone is considerate of each other. The staff and service were very friendly, both at reception, in the spa, and especially in the restaurant – top-notch! Thank you so much! Breakfast is excellent and truly includes everything... right down to sparkling wine, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic! In the afternoon, there's wonderful cake; the Black Forest cherry cake is divine! And in the evening, there are delicious four-course meals, varied in flavor and beautifully presented. ... And all this in very nice restaurant premises. Bad Teinach itself doesn't have much to offer (the pasta factory is worth a visit, and Zavelstein Castle (steep climb) is worth a trip). However, there are many walking and hiking opportunities directly from the hotel or easily accessible by car (public transport is limited). And in bad weather, there's the thermal baths and sauna. One minor point of criticism: the number of loungers is limited and was sometimes completely occupied. The Wi-Fi connection in the hotel was consistently very good. Regarding parking: there are many free hotel parking spaces, but they are often insufficient. In that case, you can use the adjacent underground parking garage (12 EUR/day is reasonable). There are two charging stations in the parking lot, but they are often occupied (the provider's app unfortunately didn't work; I paid 79 cents/kWh using my third-party card).

A truly wonderful stay! We were absolutely delighted. We had a Comfort Suite with our baby, and the room was lovely, spacious, and perfect for a relaxing family stay. A real highlight was the thermal bath right in the building—super pleasant and very easy to reach. We were also particularly impressed by the sauna on the top floor. The facility is beautifully designed, and it's a wonderful place to unwind. Overall, a very nice hotel with plenty of comfort and a great atmosphere. We feel very much at home here and are thoroughly enjoying our time.

I can only echo the positive reviews: Rooms, service, food, thermal baths and spa facilities – all top-notch! And the staff are friendly to boot! We'll definitely be back! The only drawback: Parking is so limited that you have to park in the Teinacher parking garage, which is subject to a fee. However, the ticket machine there doesn't really work. If you can't pay the exact amount in cash, you risk swallowing coins, and if you try to pay with €10 notes (other denominations aren't accepted), you get no confirmation. If you cancel the transaction, you get a voucher instead of a refund. You can only exit the garage by going back to the hotel reception to buy an exit ticket.
