Hotel Tiuna

My family and I stayed there a couple of days ago, right after the cold front. We obviously went with our TikTok reviews and after reading countless comments here, almost all of which said how awful it was. I had been to the hotel 10 years ago, and while it's not a 5-star hotel, I can't really dismiss what's there. My only complaint was the rooms; some clearly smelled more damp than others, and since we were traveling with babies, we asked for a room change, which they initially agreed to, but it wasn't granted. The food was a 9/10, very tasty and varied. Compared to 10 years ago, the variety has improved. Before, they served what you'd eat at home; now at least we got to try some local dishes. I'm not giving it a 10 because the juices sometimes tasted a bit vinegary or too sweet (like very concentrated fruit juice, haha). Otherwise, it was fine. It's a shame the nightclub is no longer open, but the movie theater is still there and it's great. They sell a lot of food at very good prices, the screen is good, and it's comfortable. We had to pay to see it; there are no hotel perks, but oh well, no major complaints there. The pool was also good. They've spruced up the facade a bit, and it looks nicer. Next to it is the bar with its unlimited drinks, which they served generously (except for one day when a different woman was working and she poured less alcohol; otherwise, the other lady was excellent). The only downside to the pool is that they open very late (11 am) and close very early (7 pm). They should improve these hours. As for customer service, I don't have a major complaint, except that when we entered, there wasn't even a "good afternoon" or "welcome." Instead, after standing there for three minutes, they said, "Wait, girl, we're busy." But hey, you try to put yourself in their shoes. Obviously, sometimes people come in very agitated, but whatever. After that, everything was fine with the people who work at the hotel.

The rooms are very old.

Poor condition. This hotel. Very run-down.
