Hotel Tsaghkadzor Marriott

Marriott Tsahkadzor is a "Fallen Star" with a zero level of service. This hotel is a typical "fallen star". The five stars are purely nominal and exist only on the facade of the building; in fact, the service is a complete disaster. The all-inclusive system is a complete deception. They promise everything at check-in, but then you discover that the billiard room is closed (a separate fee is charged). The spa also has a separate price list. Moreover, the sauna is divided into a men's and a women's sauna, which is a complete surprise for my Husband and Me. This is definitely not the place for a married couple who want to celebrate an anniversary or just spend time together. There is no service here: • The staff does not even bother to greet guests, and if you want to pay the bill, be prepared to wait until the staff returns to their position. If you are looking for a Marriott Standard hotel, then you definitely won't find it here. There is nothing left of the brand except the name; inside there is complete indifference to the guests. • The room was poorly ventilated. • The cushions on the chair have not been updated. • The bed was carelessly made and looked untidy. • A serious violation of hygiene rules: drinking water and glasses are located right in the bathroom. Obviously, the administration assumes that all guests know to close the toilet lid to prevent the spread of bacteria everywhere, including on the glasses. • There were no toothbrushes or toothpaste in the room. When we reported these problems to the reception, the only response was a cold "Sorry." The pinnacle of their "hospitality" was their response regarding hygiene kits: "We provide toothbrushes only on request. We never leave them in the rooms in advance." For a 5-star international hotel, this is simply ridiculous. Complete disappointment.

My family and I vacationed here over the New Year's holidays. Hotels in this chain are usually impeccable, and we stay in various countries expecting the same level of service and quality as we usually do at Marriott. But not here. We stayed in separate rooms, close to each other. For three days, they couldn't fix the TV in any of our rooms. The reception staff sometimes didn't respond to our requests, sometimes saying that a repairman might come if he could, but no one showed up. So, nothing was done. It was Christmas, and we wanted to watch a family movie after our ski adventures. We didn't get to. We also wouldn't recommend the breakfasts. The food was stale and not fresh. They were very expensive and meager. We only had it once for our family, and we're very glad it was just one time. The food storage area was very dusty, just like the rooms. It's more convenient and tastier to eat a little closer to the ski slopes. By the way, it's a 20-25-minute walk along a non-pedestrian road. The taxi wait is very long. As for the pool, you'll see for yourself. I've never seen it so dirty. It simply can't be like that at a Marriott hotel. I understand that at a 3-star hotel, but even then, even a moderately squeamish person wouldn't want to swim there, let alone in the jacuzzi. The kids didn't even try it. Anyway, we found many other hotels closer and more convenient to the mountain later. Next time, we'll plan a different hotel. I told reception I'd leave a review. They didn't even respond. "Well, go ahead and write," they said. The service is very poor... We absolutely do not recommend it. We were glad to return to Yerevan after this hotel.
