We came specifically to stay at the Vardar Hotel, following a recommendation from friends. On January 1st, a festive music concert was taking place in the square right in front of the hotel. The music was extremely loud, and the event was scheduled to last until 1:00 AM. Considering that we arrived after a noisy New Year's Eve and were primarily expecting to rest and get a good night's sleep, the situation was a bit disappointing. Before checking in, we had to decide: stay in a nice hotel but listen to loud music until late at night, or find another place to stay. We asked the receptionist to show us the rooms to get a feel for the noise level and make a final decision. Unfortunately, we were told that all the rooms are only available on the website. Unfortunately, it's impossible to get a sense of the hotel's atmosphere and noise level from photos. They even refused to open the door to our room and show us ours, even though we were prepared to stay inside if necessary. They also offered no alternative solution, no compensation, or discount for the obvious street noise. The receptionist's response about strict adherence to regulations seemed too formal and inflexible. Unfortunately, this approach turned us off. It's especially unfortunate because we were planning to return to this hotel next time with a larger group—10 or more people—after our yacht trip, staying overnight at the Vardar. After this experience and the lack of customer focus, we've unfortunately decided not to stay at this hotel again.

Everything was just perfect. The staff is very professional and polite, the room is well equipped and the hotel is centrally located. The breakfast buffet is varied and delicious. Highly recommended

Couldn't be a better location, right inside the walls of old town. Room was huge, and the bathroom super modern. We felt very welcome, thanks to Jelena at the reception (I may be spelling her name incorrectly). She even arranged parking for us. Breakfast was plentiful and it was delicious. Can't recommend it enough!
