We spent a week at the hotel and here are our reviews: The staff is very helpful and friendly despite their limited English/German skills. The hotel rooms are not renovated. Only the flooring and bathroom fixtures have been updated. Otherwise, the entire hotel is very outdated. The spa area is a joke; the indoor pool is clearly intended for children. Since each room has a connecting door to the adjacent room to enlarge it if needed (e.g., when booking a suite), it was extremely noisy in our bedroom. The room next door was being used as a living area. Great view of the harbor, but very noisy due to the street traffic. If you haven't booked a Red Suite, breakfast consists only of rock-hard rolls, toast, eggs, some cheese, a little sausage, thin strips of salmon, and some fruit. The fruit selection is limited to three types: watermelon, cantaloupe, and pineapple. There were no vegetables or healthy fruits like raspberries, blueberries, or strawberries. There were also no nuts – walnuts were simply placed in a bowl for decoration. There were no spreads at all. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with the breakfast at this 5-star hotel. We also find it outrageous that parking costs €25 per day for hotel guests. We will definitely never stay at this hotel again.

My stay at the Gran Meliá Victoria Hotel in Palma de Mallorca was generally very pleasant. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location is excellent, with fantastic views of the port and the cathedral. However, given that it's a five-star hotel, there were a few things that fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, I found two cigarette butts on the balcony, which shouldn't happen in a hotel of this category. The bicycle I rented was fine, but for a hotel of this caliber, I expected a more sporty model. Furthermore, breakfast only offered the basics, such as bread rolls, cheese, ham, cottage cheese, fruit, and croissants; any more elaborate options were extra. Personally, I would have preferred a more comprehensive buffet. Overall, I rate the hotel four stars, as the standards are naturally higher in a five-star establishment.
