Very surprising that this restaurant has only a 4.4 average star rating. It's absolutely amazing. Drinks, food, atmosphere, service; it was all fantastic. The only thing that can be said that's not super positive is that it's pricey - but for a high end restaurant in a fancy hotel that's par for the course. The menu offers more choices than most restaurants in Iceland outside of Reykjavik. We started with scallops (perfectly prepared), then local fish (salmon - non fatty and much better quality than what you get in most restaurants, again perfectly prepared; and arctic char, both from the nearby bay). Then ice cream, which somehow they made different and better. Nice wine. Perfect dinner experience. Six out of five. Again, not cheap - that's the only downside. But the price is not unreasonable for the type of plane and quality of food - and given the average expense in Iceland, it's good value for money.
