They sold it to us as a hotel with a heated pool, but it was always cold. That wouldn't be a problem if they had warned us from the beginning. We would have changed hotels. The pillows are awful... the shower opens backwards. The mattresses are rock hard. The electrical outlets are poorly placed... the lighting is unreliable. The restaurant prices are outrageous (400 pesos for the buffet... even the Zócalo terrace doesn't charge that much). They make you sign a waiver... but when it comes to taking responsibility, everyone passes the buck. I've reviewed many hotels, but I definitely wouldn't return to this one because, although everyone is friendly... no one takes responsibility for fixing the problems.
