We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Wailea to celebrate my husband’s birthday. From the moment we walked in we knew we made the best decision! And it’s ADULTS only!! That alone sold us. The service was exceptional from every staff member we encountered. We were unsure how it would be not being on the ocean, but the view from the Birdcage restaurant and other points on the property were stunning- we even saw whales! Drivers were always on the ready to take us to the beach and pick up. They offer chairs, umbrellas, towels, waters. A quick text message got us picked up in a timely manner. The rooms were well maintained, stocked and very clean! We appreciated the care in making our space feel so welcoming. The restaurants had great menu and food and drinks. The pool was beautiful and Service staff attentive. I could go on about this place! Really a special place now that we’ve visited. We can’t wait to go back!

A truly incredible experience at this five-star boutique hotel. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind, with scrumptious meals, lush surroundings, and beautifully curated upscale bohemian decor. The gentle chirping of lovebirds near the birdcage creates an especially charming atmosphere, and the staff is both attentive and genuinely lovely. We will definitely be back!

Initially we really loved this hotel. It’s so serene and beautiful, staff were really welcoming, food and facilities were amazing. However as the week went on we had several issues with the room having a stuffy musky smell and repeated ant trails in the kitchen. Thankfully, management were receptive in addressing and compensating for the issues after we brought it to their attention for a second time. The biggest issue we encountered however, was with the cleaning service not turning down the room in the evenings and accusing us of leaving on the “do not disturb sign”. Throughout the whole 6 day stay we put the sign on for one hour one morning while I was sleeping in. In the end management sided with the cleaning service and accused us of lying about putting the sign on. This was so very offensive and insulting and left us with a really bad taste. I’m not big on complaining or leaving bad reviews but I can honestly say our vacation was really impacted by these issues, and so I believe this rating is warranted.
