We stay here for a 4 days vacation the service was really nice so is the view ,room and breakfast the counter really show their passion when treating customers,it was really a nice boutique hotel in Swiss.

This was our second time staying at the Walther for a good week, after a much longer stay at another hotel in the Engadine. The hotel truly is still family-run; you are greeted and bid farewell as a guest, the service is personal and competent from breakfast to the bar, the food is excellent, and the rooms are very comfortable with plenty of storage space (great in winter for jackets, etc.). We particularly appreciate the large garage, which means you don't have to shovel your car out of the snow after it falls, the various restaurants, especially the trattoria with its excellent service, and the proximity to the bus station in Pontresina. The main ski area (Celerina/Margins/Corviglia) isn't far, but you need a car, public transport, or the hotel shuttle, which runs once a day. Most guests seem to prefer cross-country skiing (Pontresina is the center of the Engadine). The spa is very nice and offers everything you could need, but it's not very large.

Our favorite hotel! We love having a coffee, afternoon cake, or an aperitif in the beautifully decorated grand café. A small but lovely spa, excellent food, super-friendly service, an electric vehicle charging station – everything you could wish for.
