This was my first stay at a Curio Collection hotel, and it exceeded expectations! While the property isn’t right next to the Cathedral, it’s conveniently located near a metro station (lines 16 and 18) with a lift that takes you straight to street level. We stayed in a suite that was incredibly spacious—over 500 sqft—and absolutely spotless. The sauna was a nice touch, though it closes at 10 pm. Breakfast was a highlight: instead of the usual made-to-order omelette station found in other Hilton hotels, there were freshly cooked items to choose from. My Apple French toast was sensational! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the thoughtful Christmas sweets at reception added a festive touch. Overall, a fantastic stay with great service and comfort. Highly recommend!

This was my second stay at this hotel. However, the service has noticeably declined since my last visit (a year prior): Upon check-in, we received no information whatsoever regarding breakfast, etc. Upon arriving at our room, the key card didn't work (allegedly due to interference with a mobile phone). This happened twice more during our stay and also affected other guests, as we learned at reception. The rooms were adequate, and the beds were comfortable. However, for a 5-star hotel, at least a complimentary bottle of water would be expected. This, along with a minibar, was conspicuously absent. At breakfast the following morning, we were informed that breakfast was not included in the price and cost €32 per person, which seemed reasonable considering the selection and service. Since we had booked months in advance, we weren't entirely sure whether breakfast was included or not. Upon check-out, we rechecked our booking confirmation and discovered that we had been incorrectly charged twice for breakfast. The reception staff seemed visibly overwhelmed by the cancellation process. They also failed to provide an explanation. All in all, I probably wouldn't stay here again. There's definitely room for improvement.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Booked a room 4 months in advance, showed up to check in and was told they didn’t have a room for me. They sent me to another hotel which was, at most, half a star - far below the quality I expected here. After contacting them again, they sent me to a different hotel which was better, but not clean. At that point I was exhausted and just stayed there. After issues arose the next morning, I contacted the Wasserturm again and they promised to email me - two days later and I’ve still heard nothing from them.
