This morning during breakfast, I experienced an extremely unpleasant and unacceptable situation. While I was in the middle of my meal, a male staff member abruptly interrupted me and demanded to see my meal voucher. He then brought over another female staff member to verify my identity again. The entire process made me feel as though I was being treated like someone attempting to eat without authorization, which was both humiliating and deeply disrespectful. I fully understand the need for hotels to verify dining eligibility. However, this should be done with basic courtesy and discretion, not by interrupting a guest mid-meal and escalating the situation in front of others. Even more disappointing, after my eligibility was confirmed, there was not a single apology or explanation offered. This incident reflects a serious lack of professionalism and guest awareness. Service is not only about procedures, but about respect. I strongly urge management to review staff behavior and provide proper service training to ensure that no guest is subjected to such an uncomfortable and degrading experience again.

The accommodation tax for two adults and two children (ages 9 and 5) was 800 yen, while other hostels only charged 400 or 600 yen. The room was on the 11th floor but smelled of cooking fumes. The room was very small, so there was no space for an air purifier/dehumidifier, which is common in many hotels in Japan. The sink was next to the TV, and there was no small table to put anything on. The bathroom amenities were DHC products, but the bathroom itself was also small. There are many restaurants and shops nearby, and it's not far from Hakata Station, about an 8-minute walk. The lobby had plenty of bath salts, toiletries, and tea bags. The accommodation fee for a small double room was 4500 yen per night on weekdays.

The location is convenient and the room was the smallest I've ever stayed in. It was an acceptable stay, but I found it a bit excessive that I had to get all the amenities from the lobby and they didn't even provide a bottle of water.
