Hotel Wurms

Cozy hotel, very clean, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast. Great location, within walking distance of the city center.

Advantage: the Rewe supermarket is nearby. Düsseldorf Central Station is easily accessible. The connection to the Mitsubishi Electric Halle is easily reached by tram.

Will never ever come back to that hotel, even if it's the last one in the city. Will stay at the airport, or train station and will be better. The "cancelation fee" is real, if you don't show up, or call and maybe beg to not steal your money, they are taking all your payment and give your room to someone else. I didn't show up in m my first two days, only for the last night. At the reception the gentleman was hysterical, and asked me to sign the check in for that night, and said that I will have to pay for that one night. I refused of course, you can't charge another 100 and something euros after you literally stole almost 500. I waited on the entrance way after a long trip, while the reception guy"called" the manager. In the end he told me 300x times that this is a service that they do to me. That normally the money are gone if you don't show up. He was really aggressive and was acting like I will ever in this life come back to that s hole. The room was small, I could have touched 2 of the walls simultaneously with la hands creating a bridge. The smell of mold and humidity was unbearable. And yes. They didn't change the furniture since 1950. Everything was as awful as the other reviews, should have listened. For a family hotel, you should be more empathetic, and careful with the guests. The gentleman in the morning was ok though, i loved him, was like a cartoon character Now I will wait for the aggressive reply from the hotel. As previously stated, the replies reflect pretty well how the hotel is.
