We had a wonderful time at Hotelito Azul! The WhatsApp communication before we even arrived was super convenient and made everything so easy. Thanks to the digital check-in, once we arrived, everything was quick and stress-free, which was the best after the trip. The view from the rooftop? Incredible! It's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the view. There's no free tea in the room, but there is room service (for a fee), which is a great option if you want to relax and enjoy a drink. Overall, a huge thank you to all the staff for their hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful experience at Hotelito Azul. The service from the entire team was excellent and truly made our stay special. The housekeeping team was incredible, very attentive, friendly, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Everything was always spotless and well taken care of. The parking process was very smooth. We simply sent a WhatsApp message about 5 minutes before arriving, and the team was always ready to assist us with opening the gate. It worked perfectly every time. We also loved the digital check-in system, which is still very innovative in Mexico. Being able to complete it a day before arrival made the whole process extremely convenient and easy. Overall, everything was simply perfect. We truly appreciate the effort and hospitality of the entire team and would definitely stay here again.

A staff member there named Fabian was indeed very helpful. All the same, fleabag motels offer more competent management. We were not the only guests unable to enter the premises, left waiting in the street, unable to park, and this happened to us and others repeatedly as the garbage QR code entrance scheme malfunctioned time and again. Late at night, we were stranded on the street. A night or two later, we came across a pregnant guest stranded in the same way. No apologies were ever extended to any of us. Despite the multiple contact numbers provided, regularly we were unable to find anyone to assist with accessing the parking lot, entering the premises, or most anything else. Nowhere could I find an employee of any sort. Wanting to have hot water for tea on our balcony in the mornings, I borrowed a hot plate from the bar/restaurant in plain view of a camera. I searched high and low for someone to assist me and then, yes I took the hot plate to our room. Later I received a scathing lecture from the uptight gen Z manager who seems to have studied hospitality at mean girls junior high school. Late morning, we discovered a carafe of cold coffee left at our door. We let the manger know we drink tea. The next day around 10AM, more cold coffee arrived. No solution was offered to help us enjoy our tea. When we asked for some hot water, luke-warm water was brought to the room next door. The blunders were daily. On the way out, we were billed for a T-bone steak and a Corona, which is funny because we're vegetarians and don't drink. The strip along the beach of Tulum offers endless options for accommodations. The room we had was quite nice and we paid a premium for it. My suggestion is that as long as you're going to pay top rates for fine accommodations along this beach, skip this hotel and find a place that takes pride in the hospitality they provide, features competent management, and earns the high prices they charge.
