Excellent service and attention. A very quiet hotel close to 5th Avenue.

We just got back from a stay at Hotelito del Mar and had a great vacation. The hotel is really good, the room we got was very large and spacious, and the cleaning was also fine throughout. As for the kitchen - there are very few kitchen utensils, but honestly it was enough for what we needed. The location is great, about a 5 minute walk from the boulevard and 7 minutes from the beach, so everything is close and convenient. But the most important thing I have to say is about Mar from the reception - she is simply amazing! The highest level of service I have ever met. She helped us a lot with recommendations for places, arranged a car rental for us and in general, always smiling and saying hello to everyone. She really made our vacation much better. She helped us so much with local recommendations, assisted us with a car rental, and was always smiling and welcoming. She truly made our vacation much better. Highly recommended!

We arrived and checked in. We left our luggage and left for dinner. We came back and couldn’t get into the hotel. The keypad was locked. We had to stay with a friend and my mother in law who is 82 years old could not take her meds. We came next day to complain and check out. I am still in the lobby waiting for the to communicate with Hotels.com. The number for the hotel is not registered with Expedia. This has been a nightmare. EDIT: We got in touch with customer service at Expedia/ Hotels.com. They tried to call hotel and email. The emails and contact information are wrong, so Expedia cannot get in touch with the hotel. No communication between Hotel and Expedia. Sounds funny to me.
