Worst experience with the Front Desk Manager Surya extremely rude and obnoxious behavior. Not at all courteous and speaks rough language with the ladies. He is damaging the Hotel's prestige. The management should take strict action.

My brother and I recently stayed at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Bur Dubai for a 6-night, 7-day trip. Upon checking in, we were informed that a Gala Dinner charge of 500 AED was mandatory, which we were told we must pay in order to complete our check-in process. We were also told that the Gala Dinner would take place on the night of December 31st and include a party, so we proceeded to pay the amount. While the room itself was satisfactory, we were extremely disappointed with the overall service. Despite paying for the Gala Dinner, the experience was far from what we had expected. On the night of December 31st, we were informed by hotel staff that the original timing for the Gala Dinner was from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM. However, on the same day, the timing was changed to 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM, without any prior notification to us. We confirmed with the staff the new timing of 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM. When we arrived at the party at 2:00 AM, we were shocked to find there was no party or dinner. After inquiring, the staff informed us that the dinner had ended and that the party was over. However, according to the staff, the dinner timing was from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM. This was in contradiction to what we had been told earlier. We then escalated the issue to the reception and spoke with the hotel manager. Unfortunately, the staff refused to acknowledge our concerns and declined to provide us with any food, despite the fact that we had already paid for the Gala Dinner. We were left without any dinner and had to sleep on an empty stomach that night. In conclusion, I strongly advise against staying at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Bur Dubai. The lack of communication, poor service, and refusal to honor what we had already paid for left us very disappointed.
