front desk personnel were polite and professional. the mattress on the bed needed to be replaced. it felt like it had been jumped on repeatedly and was way too soft. the cable was OK but the remote didn't function all the necessary TV/cable functions. ther was a large TV hanging on the wall, but the smaller one on the desk is the TV that worked. coffee pot needed to be cleaned before using. room had microwave and fridge. room/linens were clean. the hot breakfast advertised, or any food at all, was non existent and when asked, the front desk person said, "she must have forgotten get it ready". not sure how you forget to get breakfast ready. price was reasonable for a quick night's stay.

Very old hotel but about as clean as it can be considering its aged appearance (the pictures online are very misleading). The site states breakfast included (no hoots listed) but that was a lie. I went down looking for breakfast at 8 and there was nothing but cereal, yogurt, butter, and cream cheese spread (like you put on a bagel). I assumed they were running behind. I went back at 9 still nothing. When I questioned the attendant she told me that since they didn't have many guests she decided not to cook breakfast. When I pushed back and said their website didn't state breakfast is only provided with a capacity minimum she then back tracked and said breakfast ends at and it just happened to be 9 now. After a long drive, I arrived late and was relieved to find that the front desk staff was still friendly and accommodating. Everything was quite simple to use, and the room felt cozy enough for a quick visit.
