My stay was generally good; however, there are a few points to consider: If you bring a car, you have to pay $175 Mexican pesos per night, which isn't mentioned in the reservation. For pool towels, they require a $300 peso deposit, which is refundable. After Hurricane Otis, the hotel has been remodeled. The rooms have a partial ocean view and are generally fine, and they are kept clean. Our room, 1011, only had a problem with the terrace door not closing completely. Also, when we turned on the air conditioning, it leaked from the unit, so we had to put a towel on the floor to catch the leaks. Another point to consider is the beach area of the hotel. At night, they should implement security, as some people drink there and leave their trash behind. I even saw one of them urinating in the sea. I repeat, overall my stay was good. The hotel pools were nice, the location was good for walking around, eating out, going downtown, or other amenities, and the hotel staff was always attentive. I hope they take into account the points mentioned as negatives, and I would gladly return.

I stayed for a week in two rooms: one with two double beds for two adults and two children, and another with a king-size bed for one adult. Both were very spacious, with a partial ocean view, very nice and modern, with air conditioning and amenities. You can get ice on some floors; they provide a cooler for drinks. Regarding costs, I think the accommodation prices are reasonable. What I've seen in various reviews is the cost and limited variety of food (which is why I only ate at the restaurants twice). I did like the snacks by the pool. The waiter service was excellent. The facilities are good; they're renovated, and I think floors 22 through 28 are still closed because the elevators are out of service. The pools are excellent for all ages, and the beach area is very nice. You can use your cooler and buy food from vendors outside the hotel. Security is attentive at all times and very respectful. Parking is $175 per night, and valet parking is available 24 hours a day. Now for the not-so-good... the reception manager, Esmeralda, lacks customer service skills (she answers rudely). She should also keep an eye on the reception staff, as they don't attend to guests even when there are many in the queue. The highlight... the staff who liven up the pool area: Africa, Ingrid... they organize aqua Zumba, water polo, and more. Keep in mind that it's located on the main road, and even on the 12th floor, you can hear some noise.
