Hello, I wanted to share my experience at this hotel following my stay. The hotel is located on a hill, which makes it difficult to access on foot or by public transport. However, the hotel offers a shuttle service between the center of Saanen and the hotel, which is very convenient and makes getting around easier. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find a DJ playing in the lobby at a very high volume, making it nearly impossible to have a conversation with the receptionist during check-in. The room was very nicely decorated and spacious enough for one night. We also had a balcony, which made the experience even more pleasant. The hotel is relatively large, but the signage is sometimes inadequate. This makes moving between the rooms, the spa, the restaurant, and other areas sometimes a little confusing. The spa itself is relatively small considering the number of rooms in the hotel. However, there were enough towels available. On the other hand, there was a lack of a convenient place to leave our belongings (bathrobes, slippers, etc.). As for the La Vue restaurant, it's located behind the bar, on the same floor as the lobby, with no real separation between the two areas. We therefore had to dine while listening to the lobby DJ at a very high volume, which significantly detracted from the experience. Furthermore, the prices are very high for what we found to be a fairly standard level of food and service. We were particularly surprised to find that tap water was charged at CHF 5, as was the bread served with the steak tartare and foie gras, even though these two appetizers cost CHF 30 each. Our experience at the restaurant was ultimately cut short due to the particularly disturbing noise level. Imagine our surprise when, back in our room, two floors below, we found we could still clearly hear the DJ's bass. Finally, the breakfast restaurant has great potential, but given the large number of guests, the quality of the buffet, and the ambient noise level, the atmosphere was more akin to a Migros supermarket than a hotel of this caliber. Overall, we did appreciate certain aspects of our stay. However, we would not recommend this establishment to those seeking a quiet and relaxing stay.
