Hyatt House Orlando International Drive

I had a great stay at this hotel. The place is very nice, with friendly service and a central location, which made everything very convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I really appreciated that the hotel offers laundry facilities, an ice machine, and multiple elevators, which made the stay even easier. The room also includes a kitchen with cooking utensils, a mini fridge, and in the bathroom there were large-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, which is a big plus. Breakfast was good and well organized, and overall the hotel felt comfortable, practical, and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

I was very disappointed in my stay with Hyatt. I am sorry to say that I used my CC points on my World of Hyatt account and I won't be doing that again. I transferred over 40,000 points for a stay at the Hyatt House Orlando 5374 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819 (65903976). When I initially booked the stay, I used my points to book the entirety of the reservation, there was no indication of any kind that there would be a remainder cash balance on the stay. If there would have been a cash balance, I would not have booked it, or potentially used additional points to cover the stay. After calling to check on my reservation, I was told that there would be a remaining balance of around $600. I was appalled by this and immediately contacted World of Hyatt who said they couldn't assist because it was too late. They did nothing to help me with this mix-up that happened on their end regarding the points + cash which was very frustrating. Then when we stayed at the hotel, MULTIPLE issues happened. The first night, the fire alarm went off at 5 in the morning and it was a horrifying experience. I understand things happen, but the next morning we were not informed by the hotel of what happened. I had to go and ask the front desk to which they told me that there was a "kitchen malfunction" in one of the units. Imagine! It was completely avoidable, yet no accountability, no apology and no communication from the hotel. After that we realized that everytime we took a shower, the entire bathroom would flood, we asked the front desk for help and they said we could come down the next morning to call the mechanic up. After not sleeping well the first night, I was then woken up TWICE at 8 am by the front desk asking to send the mechanic app. I couldn't believe how early they were calling. It is common sense that business hours start at 9, why are you calling me before 8 when I am still sleeping?? I had to tell the lady on the phone that I was still sleeping. Later the mechanic came to fix the shower but when we used it again it still wasn't fixed. They sent the mechanic for a third time and yet the shower was still spilling out water everywhere. To top everything off, everytime we would call the front desk from our room, nobody would answer. Overall, it was a really bad experience. I spoke with the manager who apologized and offered to credit us back just one night, but to be honest after everything we went through, I don't believe this was enough for what we went through. We still had to pay close to $500 out of pocket for an inconsistent system and a horrible hotel stay? I am extremely disappointed and will not be staying with Hyatt again.
