I didn't stay at the hotel, I went to a coin selling event. As for the hotel, I was greeted when I walked in. As for the coin event, their marketing materials don't match what they are actually taking. I wish I hadn't gone. There are a few different other similar events by different companies, they may not all be the same.

We are currently staying at the Hyatt and honestly I have passed the front desk multiple times not once has anyone looked up or said hello in a greeting unbelievable for the hospitality industry if you ask me.

Hospitality truly felt nonexistent during my recent experience. I had to adjust my original stay due to a death in my family. I called ahead of time and was told it would not be a problem. I was not asking for a refund, simply I would check in at a later date. When I arrived at 9 PM on February 18th, I was told I had been marked as a no show and that my room had been oversold. They also kept asking who I spoke to on Monday! Like I was lying. This is 100 percent on the hotel. Being told this after a long day of travel, under difficult personal circumstances, was incredibly upsetting. What made it worse was how it was handled. There was no apology, no empathy, and no real attempt to help find a solution. One employee was even smirking during the interaction, which felt completely inappropriate given the situation. Crazy you can buy a room and then can't get in this is horrible policy I should be allowed to come and go during my stay as I please I fully paid already. This could have been addressed with care and professionalism. Instead, it felt dismissive and cold. To add to the experience, the lobby area was visibly dirty while I waited. This experience has seriously turned me off from Hyatt.
