We had a really lovely stay at the Hyatt. Even though it’s a large chain hotel, it felt friendly and welcoming thanks to the people who work there. Valerie on the front desk was especially kind and helpful, and the lady at breakfast was just as warm and hospitable. It made such a difference and we really appreciated it. Thank you for a great stay

This I checked in at this Hyatt Place location on December 12, 2025. After checking in, I stored my bags and left the property. When I returned later that night (around 11 PM), I discovered serious sanitation and maintenance issues that made the room uninhabitable. There were live roaches in the room, hair throughout the room (on the bed, in the shower, and on the toilet), and the AC/heat unit was not functioning. I immediately reported these issues to the front desk and requested relocation to another hotel. I was told I could either switch rooms or relocate and that a refund would need to be handled by management due to the third-party booking. Given the conditions, I relocated to another hotel that same night and did not stay overnight at Hyatt Place. I returned the next morning to follow up and was told again that the refund would need to be approved by the General Manager. Despite documentation of the roaches and HVAC failure, management later denied the refund by claiming the stay was “completed,” relying on internal system records rather than the actual conditions or the fact that I did not occupy the room. This experience was extremely disappointing, particularly for a Hyatt-branded property. Sanitation and guest safety should not be negotiable, and how this was handled afterward was equally concerning. I would not recommend staying here until cleanliness, pest control, and management accountability are addressed.
