We stayed at this hotel in December 2025 as a one-night stop between Las Vegas and Sequoia. The price was great and our expectations were fairly low, but we were pleasantly surprised. From arrival, it was clear the property is very clean and well maintained, and there was even security present in the parking lot, which we appreciated. Check-in was smooth and friendly, and the indoor common areas were also neat and well kept. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed—nothing brand new or modern, but absolutely perfect for our stay and more than fine for the price. There’s also a laundry room, which is really convenient if you’re traveling and need to do a quick wash. The commercial area of Delano with shops and restaurants isn’t far from the hotel, and there always seemed to be staff available at the front desk. The next morning, the breakfast really stood out: everything tasted fresh and was served on real plates (not paper plates with plastic cutlery, which you sometimes get with this type of hotel). We were genuinely impressed by both the quality and the selection. Overall, an ideal road-trip stop and better than we expected for the money. Staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and professional. The only small note: the Christmas decorations could have been a bit more festive for the season—but that’s personal taste.

We got in late and immediately got our room. The property seems newer but it is showing its age already. We both liked the softness of the bed but they keep the rooms at 65 and the road noise and trains could keep you up (they had ear plugs on the nightstand). The staff was friendly and the breakfast exceeded our expectations.
