The room was clean, and having two beds was a plus. Soundproofing was solid. I couldn’t hear neighboring rooms coming or going, which was appreciated. Parking isn’t accessible from inside the hotel, so expect an outdoor walk to the back lot. Weather matters. The surrounding area had a steady stream of people asking for cigarettes, money, and other creative donations. Breakfast is available, but the spread isn’t monitored. Dishes ran out, and the area needed cleaning between guests, even though breakfast stays open until 10 a.m. Showering turned into a full-contact sport. The shower curtain is not waterproof and spent the entire shower aggressively clinging to me while letting water flood the bathroom. The curtain won. Also, no washcloths were included with the towels. On a positive note, the staff were polite and helpful when I had questions.

Like the location of this hotel. The staff is polite, the rooms are clean and there is a complimentary breakfast with a decent spread. Hotel has a bar restaurant on the top floor, convenient if you don’t want to leave the restaurant for dinner or a nightcap. If you decide to venture out there are dozens of restaurants within a five minute walk Street parking is a challenge but I always park in the garage near by and walk over to the hotel.

My experience was pleasant. Dallas (at the front) was cordial and very helpful. My room was clean and very spacious. I would return for a staycation.
