Great place to stay! The front desk staff were courteous and welcoming. The breakfast spread was excellent. Umbrellas were available for guests to use free of charge. The room featured a fancy bidet, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a great stay.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place Kyoto for 6 nights and it was the best Hyatt Place I’ve ever stayed at in my life! Literally a less than a 10 second walk from the subway (right next to the hotel entrance), and buses within a few minutes walk nearby to take you to all the tourist spots not readily accessible by the subway. The rooms were clean and spacious for Japan standards (we had a 1 king bed Garden view room). The shower was magnificent as well as all the skin care products provided!! The heated toilet was 10/10!! Rooms were cleaned daily based on your request (there are cards on the room door you can choose full cleaning, eco cleaning, etc). We were always stocked with amenities daily, you literally do not have to bring anything, they even provided comfy pajamas!! The bed was very comfortable. Service was amazing and everyone was so kind and helpful…Japanese hospitality is top notch. As for the breakfast-this was included in our booking as Hyatt had a promotion for our dates (otherwise you would have to pay unless you’re a globalist status with Hyatt) and it was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had at any Hyatt. For laundry facilities-the hotel does provide one but it was always in use when we attempted to go so we walked about 5 minutes away to a 24 hour laundry place. We will return to this Hyatt in Kyoto, we love you Hyatt Place and thank you for an amazing stay!!
