Check-in was professional and friendly. The room was visually appealing, modern, and well-maintained – not exceptionally large, but nicely designed and comfortable overall. However, the amenities weren't quite up to the standard one would expect in this category: there were too few towels, and only one 0.5-liter bottle of water was provided per person. There was no turndown service, such as refilling the water bottle. Additional water had to be purchased in the lobby at very high prices. The service at the bar was particularly disappointing. While drinks were brought, they weren't served with coasters, so the table quickly became dirty with condensation. We weren't offered snacks, even though they were being served at the next table. After we finished our drinks, no one came by for a considerable time to ask if everything was alright or if we wanted anything else. Even after clearly waving and having a staff member visibly acknowledge us, there was no response. When we paid, the bill was simply collected without any inquiry about our satisfaction. ``` The massage in the spa area was, at best, average. Advertised as a "Personal Signature Massage," my request to focus on my back was met with only the upper part being massaged; my lower back was completely ignored. When I asked for more pressure, the initial response was extremely forceful. When I asked for the pressure to be reduced, I received the following direct reply: "I'm not a machine, I can't just push a button and then less pressure." Besides the unprofessional tone, I consider it a given that staff in a five-star hotel in Germany have good German skills and can communicate in a service-oriented manner. A proper response would have been a brief apology and a calm adjustment of the pressure. This tone only made the already mediocre massage even more unpleasant. Furthermore, the treatment wasn't initially found in the system when I went to pay, resulting in a wait of approximately 10-15 minutes. The breakfast itself was of very good quality: a comprehensive, high-quality buffet that left little to be desired, complemented by an à la carte menu. However, all the seats were occupied, so I had to wait about ten minutes for a table. The à la carte dishes I ordered weren't served until about 30 minutes after I ordered them—by which time I had to leave breakfast. On a positive note, after I mentioned the overall poor service level at check-out, the €35 daily parking fee for the underground garage was waived. I found this gesture to be very fair and professional. Overall, the rooms and breakfast were decent to good. However, there is clearly room for improvement in terms of service quality and professionalism. Therefore, I give it three out of five stars.

The moment you step inside, you can feel the sophisticated atmosphere and professional organization. Room & Comfort: The room was modern, stylishly furnished, and very spacious. We were particularly impressed by its immaculate condition—everything looked brand new and thoughtfully designed. The bed was extremely comfortable and ensured restful nights. The amenities left nothing to be desired. Cleanliness: The hotel deserves special praise here. Both the room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean. The daily cleaning was carried out thoroughly and reliably. It's clear that the Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf places great emphasis on hygiene and order. Staff & Service: The staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our entire stay. From check-in to check-out, we felt welcome and well taken care of at all times. Questions and requests were handled quickly and competently—this is exactly what you expect from first-class service. Cleanliness: The hotel deserves special praise here. Both the room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean. The daily cleaning was carried out very thoroughly and reliably. Conclusion: The Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf impresses with outstanding comfort, exemplary cleanliness, and top-notch service. We would return anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
