⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An all-around outstanding stay at the Hyatt Regency Koh Samui. The staff's uncomplicated service, generous hospitality, and consistently exceptional friendliness were particularly noteworthy – you feel welcome and valued from the very first moment. A true highlight was the à la carte breakfast right on the beach: relaxed, high-quality, and perfectly organized. The buffet also impressed with its extensive selection and excellent quality. A clear 5 stars – we would love to return.

Hyatt Regency Koh Samui – An Experience Unworthy of a Hotel of This Standard The Hyatt Regency Koh Samui is a huge disappointment. The customer service is mediocre, far below the level expected for a hotel of this category and price. From the moment we arrived, the reception was cold, unprofessional, and clearly not focused on customer satisfaction. In the restaurants, especially at the buffet, the servers were passive, unresponsive, and disinterested, giving the impression that we were a nuisance rather than a valued customer. We had booked two standard rooms. Due to a return flight scheduled for the afternoon, we requested an upgrade for both rooms to allow for a later check-out. The reception refused, offering unconvincing excuses about the arrival of other guests. We then insisted on an upgrade to a villa for both rooms. The result: only one room was upgraded, completely contrary to our initial request, and at an excessive and unjustified upgrade price. No commercial effort, no coherent solutions, no sense of service. After spending five days at the Kimpton Kitalay Samui, where the service was impeccable (attentive, efficient staff who genuinely cared about the customer), the contrast is shocking. The Hyatt Regency pales in comparison and clearly doesn't deserve its upscale positioning. In conclusion: catastrophic value for money, amateurish service, and a total lack of consideration for the customer. I strongly advise against this hotel. Avoid it.
