The guy in reception was really nice, my 2nd room was also, but.. the stairs I will remember till the end of my life 😄 (lift was broken) and first impression (I thought it’s rather hosTel than hotel). Generally a little bit mixed feelings.. PS. Lidl is 3min away. The Center of the city ~15min walk

The receptionist was VERY hostile when I asked for the posibility of getting a room not facing the main street (I am sensitive to noise). I am quite loyal with Accor, being Gold and did not expect this treatment. He angrily said he would cancel the booking if I am unhappy with the room and to leave my bags and go up and check. Out to fear of not having a room I said it was ok but ended up staying at the really nice CitizenM closeby for the same price and wasting paying for a night at Ibis. The Ibis room was very dated and there is no common lounge space to use like CitizenM. I would avoid this place.

This hotel is a 15-minute walk from the city center and has a tram stop right on the corner. The room is good value for money, and the soundproofing could be improved. When I find free rooms, I always stay here during the Mets Trade show. The fairgrounds are about a 10-minute tram ride away. (No. 4)
