Great experience with Ibis Scheveningen. Good location for visiting the Circus Theatre. Been there several times. Each time, I checked in with Pammila. It's a real asset to the hotel.

Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed this time. We arrived on December 30th, and the room was supposed to be ready at 3 pm for check-in, but we were finally able to get in at 5 pm. Unfortunately, it still wasn't 100% clean. The staff was very friendly, and we could get water there during that time. The neighboring rooms seemed to be having a party, as there was loud music playing constantly in the room during the day. Around 4 am, it got even louder with some pretty intense conversations. The worst part, however, was a family who kept the entire breakfast area entertained because the parents apparently couldn't manage, or didn't think it necessary, to keep their excessively loud son quiet, at least while eating. All the other families managed to do that. The staff could have said something to them, as not every room has a playground; this one was one floor below. All in all, it was very noisy and dirty this time. The staff, however, were very, very friendly. Hence the stars.
