I'll start with the positives, and I must give special praise to three members of the staff: Doris, Dilan, and Süki. These ladies displayed wonderful warmth and excellent service, showing a genuine care and friendliness that we missed everywhere else in the hotel! (We're not sure if management realizes what fantastic three employees they have!) The food was good, but unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy it until our second evening. On our first evening, we were offered a €14 frozen pizza or other frozen items from the "Snacks" section of the menu, which weren't exactly a highlight. The rooms are clean and nice. Now for the negatives: Upon arrival, we weren't greeted properly or warmly by either the cleaning staff, who were chatting at reception, or by the receptionist (who only appeared after about 10 minutes – a doorbell would have been great). ] `` ] ... Furthermore, we had the impression that the woman was overwhelmed and probably still in training, yet she was working alone! Then, upon our arrival in the morning, we weren't informed that we would only be served frozen snacks in the restaurant that evening, and that not even a schnitzel or anything similar would be prepared for us because a Christmas party was taking place in the adjacent room. In our opinion, this was outrageous, because now comes the kicker: When we returned to the hotel from our excursion shortly after 6 p.m., completely exhausted and starving, we were informed that we couldn't yet access our three rooms (check-in is normally at 2 p.m., and we had paid for them!), because the previous guest had a late check-out (which actually took place at 3 p.m.). It's an outrage to deny a room that's been booked and paid for from 2 p.m. onwards. I can't make the room available to the previous guest any longer if it's already booked! (This involved a total of 3 rooms.) And if you're going to be so disrespectful to your guests, then you should at least have cleaned the 3 rooms between 3 pm and 6 pm! Despite our request to speak with management, this was unfortunately not possible as they were not present, and unfortunately, no one approached us about it the following day either. Then we were told to go get something to eat in the meantime. Well, we were absolutely starving and wanted at least something decent to eat, but as mentioned before, there were only snacks available, such as frozen pizza or hot dogs, etc. If you valued and treated your guests the way the three service staff members mentioned above did, you could have at least offered us the frozen pizza as a consolation prize, or a bottle of sparkling wine, or something else, but unfortunately, nothing of the sort was offered. ... At check-out, we weren't asked if we enjoyed our stay or anything like that, and we didn't even receive a proper farewell. It was clear that no one cared whether we were satisfied or comfortable – very disappointing! Our conclusion is: We do not recommend this hotel and will not be returning! There are much better hotels nearby that offer superior service for a similar price.

The restaurant at the ibis Styles Linz is truly excellent! The food was delicious and fresh, and the atmosphere very pleasant. The service was especially outstanding – Şüki and Dilan are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always have a smile on their faces 😊 You immediately feel welcome. Thank you for a wonderful evening – highly recommended!

The building is functional, lacking charm and style. The first thing we noticed was that the bar staff informed us they were closing in 30 minutes. That didn't exactly sound welcoming. Then, while the parking ticket was booked (and paid for), they forgot to activate it. So, the next morning we had to walk back through the rain to get it activated. To top it all off, the receptionist told me that despite my request, they couldn't issue the bill right then and that I would receive it by email. You get the feeling that the staff (yet again) consider themselves more important than the guests. A growing problem!
