IFA Schöneck, Hotel & Ferienpark

We stayed at the hotel right at the beginning of the ski season and were lucky that there was already a good amount of snow. Unfortunately, there was only enough for the small slope in front of the hotel; the large chairlift wasn't running. The hotel can't be blamed for that, though; it's beyond their control. Nevertheless, it did affect our holiday. The hotel rooms were very clean and tidy, and practically furnished. Everything you need is there, and there's plenty of space (a four-bed apartment for a family of four). The food was excellent. There was something for everyone: fresh salads, various types of bread, and cold cuts in all varieties. There was also always a hot dish: fish, meat, or vegetarian options. A great selection of desserts! Juice and water are included, as is beer. Breakfast also offered everything you could want. Bread and rolls in various styles. Different yogurts, muesli, fruit, eggs (both hard-boiled and perfectly soft-boiled), coffee, milk, tea, juice, and always a bonus (Kaiserschmarrn, pancakes, etc.). And there was always a separate station for the children. At the entrance, you can also buy a packed lunch to take something from the buffet for the day. There's also a small general store in the hotel where you can buy a variety of groceries, as well as hats, swimsuits, toys, and souvenirs. The children loved the indoor playground and the swimming pool! There's also a playroom and a cinema, which we didn't use as we didn't have the time. Overall, I can highly recommend the hotel. Next time, we might come when there's more reliable snow cover, or perhaps in the fall/spring to explore the area on foot.

A wonderful hotel for a family vacation. We took a family room for the New Year and were very satisfied. The room is comfortable, with a kitchen - there were all the utensils, pots, even detergent. Comfortable sofa and bed. Breakfasts and dinners are delicious, a large selection, the children really liked it. There is a children's room and a pool - the pool became a favorite with the children. I will separately note the shower: the curtain was new and clean, hot water always - no problems. Of the minuses - you have to pay extra for many services separately (parking, pool, food), and the breakfasts lacked a high-quality coffee machine. Overall - I am completely satisfied and would happily return again. I recommend it to families with children.
