We stayed at the Hotel Ilunion Valencia 4 from Saturday until today. Unfortunately, the experience was quite mixed. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room that was very cold: despite several attempts to increase the temperature, the thermostat seemed to be malfunctioning. We then went to reception, where they explained that it was a general problem with the heating system and that it would be fixed within a few days. We were subsequently assigned another room on the tenth floor, which fortunately was warm and did not have the heating issue. However, we encountered other issues: the sheets were stained and the toilet brush was missing, which in our opinion is essential for ensuring a minimum level of decorum and hygiene. Furthermore, yesterday we noticed a strong smell of smoke throughout the tenth floor, which also penetrated our room. Added to this was a persistent sewage smell from the bathroom area, which lingered for several hours. On the plus side, we noted that the requested slippers were promptly provided and that the staff was generally quite friendly and helpful. Breakfast was generally good, with a good variety of both sweet and savory items, and overall we had a good experience. Overall, the property has potential, but some maintenance and cleanliness issues negatively impacted the quality of our stay.
