Indian Head Resort

Stayed here sat - tues for my birthday. Staff was amazing! Great customer service would highly recommend every single staff member i came in contact with was pleasant and very helpful! If your gonna stay in lincoln nh stay at the Indian head amazing views and 5 star staff. I love the white mountains and will be staying here next time I come up thanks for a great few days !

BED BUGS! I’ve been here a handful of times and always enjoyed my stays but this time around has absolutely caused me and my family not to return. We opted to stay in one of the cottages, when arriving it smelt like propane pretty badly with the fireplace off. The maintenance man was extremely nice, came to shut the supply off and even provided us with another heat source. After being here for a total of 25 minutes I found a bed bug and immediately reported it to the front desk packed up our stuff and decided to leave. The maintenance man even agreed saying this was 110% a bed bug. After waiting a while for the manager she came out “are you the people” and immediately started going off saying what we saw wasn’t true and that it was a carpenter ant and that her AI app on her phone says so. She completely dismissed everything, I don’t know who she was trying to convince, us or herself because that was 110% a bed bug. She ended up walking away from us saying she’ll process the return, and with attitude said she’ll even send us the report on Monday when an inspector comes out, she was super rude and condescending. I’ve seen a lot of reviews on here with them replying saying what people reported is not true, all of this happened. I wish I could have given a better review. I have tried to attach photos what we saw.

I visited in early November which is clearly the offseason in this area between fall leaves and winter skiing. The observation tower was closed. The restaurant in the hotel was closed as well. The website didn't indicate reduced services during this time of year nor did any communication I received from the location prior to my visit. The indoor pool and hot tubs looked nice, clean and well maintained. The electric fireplace in the room kept tripping the breaker. The AC unit was smaller than the opening in the wall creating a gap of about 1/2 in where cold air came in directly from the outside so I had to fill it with a hand towel. Bed was very comfortable. I imagine this location is great during different times of the year but I would advise not to visit in November. So glad I only stayed one night. With the seasonal limitations this was an overpriced Motel 6.
