The rooms are clean with basic amenities. Though a bit outdated the rooms are comfortable. The price per night is fair. It's close to certain venues (Moda Center, Convention Center, Wonder Ballroom) making it a great choice for overnight stays.

My friend and I have been staying at this con once a year for the past few years to attend a Convention. Each year we’ve started to notice the buildings lack of care towards the rooms and general maintenance, but since it is so cheap and close we have continued to stay. After this years stay we both agreed we will NOT being staying here again. While the staff are incredibly nice, that does not make up for the horrible conditions of the rooms and elevators. Elevators are old and scratched up, certain buttons don’t work and/or light up when you need to get a specific floor and they shake horribly while you go between floors. The rooms themselves are even worse. Not only does it take 20+ tries for the card reader to unlock the door (even when we went to get new cards), but the rooms themselves is covered in large stains, destroyed walls and a horrible bathroom. Our shower could not drain so our showers had to be two hours apart so the water could drain. Nothing says vacation like standing in water up to your calves in a 10 minute shower. Our bedroom also had a black area where it looks like our vent had previously caught fire, and our smoke detector had a plastic bag on it. Walls are paper thin and at all times we could hear our neighbors from the hallway, other rooms and outside despite being on the 4th floor. We know we were not the only ones who had a bad experience as we spoke to others staying who had been locked out of their room for 10 mins because the door locks do not work. I hope this hotel takes some of this criticism and updates the hotel.

The rooms are comfortable for the price, and it's right next to the convention center. However, be aware that the internet is very slow, and the nearby light rail will make loud noise all night - bring some earplugs.
