If you're visiting Belo Horizonte for leisure, avoid staying here. Not because of the hotel's quality, but because of its terrible location. The Gameleira neighborhood is a huge distance from the main tourist attractions, such as Savassi, the city center, and Pampulha. To make matters worse, BH's traffic is chaotic, public transportation is limited, and Avenida Amazonas is congested, which is infinitely worse on rainy days, like the ones I experienced. It's a bottleneck of cars from the entire city. All of this generates stress, extreme fatigue, high travel costs, wasted time, and difficulty going out at night, since the area offers absolutely nothing. There are no bars, restaurants, squares, museums, cafes, bakeries, nothing around. In my case, I tried to avoid peak hours, going out to enjoy the city all at once by returning around 10 am and coming back in the early evening to rest. Okay, the mistake was mine, and the hotel doesn't offer that kind of service. Positive Points That said, the hotel is excellent. The staff are extremely attentive, friendly, helpful, and good-humored, especially François who welcomed us very well. The facilities are great, with large and comfortable beds, a delightful gas shower, a well-lit room (natural light, artificial light was lacking), and excellent cleanliness, although I found some dishes scattered in the hallway outside the room a bit strange. The gym, pool, and rooftop are also very good, everything very well organized. The breakfast is fantastic, with a wide variety of fruits, cereals, yogurts, juices, breads, cakes, sweets, hot brewed coffee, the option to order tapiocas or omelets, and a very spacious dining area. Regarding the location, it's ideal for those traveling for work, attending events at Expominas BH, or going to a game at MRV Arena.

Great hotel... everything was excellent!!!

Good afternoon, I would like to begin by thanking the entire hotel team for their hospitality and service. It is clear that the staff are properly trained to provide the best possible experience for guests, which is worthy of recognition. However, I would like to point out a few things that, in my opinion, could contribute to making future stays even more pleasant: 1. Blackout curtains in the rooms: The windows should have blackout curtains, as the white curtains do not adequately block out light, making it difficult to rest. 2. Availability of a QR Code at reception: It would be very useful to provide a QR Code with all the relevant information for the guest, such as: • Information that the room key/access card must also be used in the elevator (information that is not mentioned at check-in); • Clear instructions on how the parking lot works, especially for entry and exit at night. 3. Communication about room service: Providing a sign for the door (for example, "Do Not Disturb" or "Make the Room") is essential. Currently, there are daily knocks on the door, which can cause discomfort for both guests and housekeepers, who are simply performing their duties. Similarly, the daily approach to restocking the minibar may be unnecessary. Many guests prefer not to be interrupted every morning, and those who need products can request them directly. I emphasize that this is not a failure on the part of the staff, but rather the need for a more efficient communication system between the hotel and the guests. 4. Suggestion form: I also suggest providing a suggestion form so that guests themselves can record their perceptions and contribute to improvements. Considering the prices charged for dishes, services, and breakfast, I believe that the points mentioned above deserve attention, as they directly impact the experience offered.
