This is one of the worst Intercontinental hotels I have stayed at, and I have the highest tier membership, I have stayed at quite a few across Europe and the Middle East. One of the doormen was very rude and made us feel uncomfortable, which ruined the stay, he was hovering and looking at my party to make us feel uncomfortable. Not that it should matter because all guests should be treated well but this was after we had spent a lot at the hotel on extras and the spa. Facilities - the rooms areaverage, nothing special. Not on par with most other Intercontinentals. The water service was good. Very punctual. Breakfast service was excellent. Very attentive. General hospitality of the staff in the lobby was average, sometimes quite dismissive and not very attentive. Concierge was very friendly and helpful. Generally the staff behind reception were good. The rude doorman ruined the stay. This was just one doorman trying to get us to leave, the others were super helpful.

This is the very first time of 4stars hotel telling me that they got double booked. While I paid for the room since a month ago; and today when I was arriving to the hotel this night manager name SANTIAGO kept on telling me it’s not his problem and he insisted to move us to indigo hotel. I don’t mind even paying for the suite; also if SANTIAGO gives us a heads up like a week before or few days before, OR EVEN a few hours before, we might be able to find another option. NOT TELLING US THE ROOM IS FULL RIGHT WHEN WE GOT TO THE HOTEL. This hotel is considered as a good 4 star hotel. But my experience tonight is VERY VERY UNPLEASANT AND UNCOMFORTABLE. I have been to so many 4 & 5 stars hotel all around the world, but this is the very first time I got treated like this. While me and my family just got our flight delayed for 3hours; and we were hoping to get some rest instead we were being told that the room are full. I think you should fire SANTIAGO; i am 100% sure that he sell the room to other guests while he knows that my flight got delayed for 3hours and he blamed it on the system. While I know for sure the hotel room system is not that stupid to do double booking.
