We had an incredible stay at the InterContinental Le Moana Bora Bora Resort. We spent five nights in an overwater bungalow, and the view from our room was breathtaking. Waking up each morning to the turquoise blue lagoon, sitting on our private deck with coffee, and watching the sunrise was pure paradise. One of our favorite features was the glass coffee table in the bungalow that allowed us to see colorful fish swimming around the coral below. There’s even a light you can turn on at night, so you can watch the fish after dark. The resort offers complimentary snorkel kits and kayaks, which made it easy to explore the lagoon. The buffet breakfast each morning was outstanding, with a wide variety of options including fresh pineapple, mango, bananas, and the best coconut French toast. Dinner options and desserts were equally delicious. The location is perfect, it’s just a short walk to Matira Beach to watch the most beautiful sunsets every evening. The grounds are beautifully maintained and ideal for photos. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. We were greeted at the airport and escorted to a waiting boat that took us directly to the resort. The staff throughout our stay was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. If you’re looking for a true Bora Bora experience, this resort delivers in every way. I hope we can return and visit again someday.

A most wonderful vacation. Location on Matiera plage is beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Always smiling. The snorkeling was good with clear water. Lots of fish to see around the Coral. Not as much reef, but sandy bottom for water shoes. Food choices were good, and service was always awesome. Our stay felt magical. Granted a late checkout in the low season gave us an extra morning to enjoy. Easy walk across the street to the public beach on Matiera point to watch the sunsets. Definitely recommend.

The place is very nice, and considering the price, we were well received. We stayed in bungalow 24. It's a shame the roof was between us; it ruined our photos and videos, but the bungalow itself was very pleasant. You have access to the hotel's beach. Masks, snorkels, and beach towels are provided free of charge. Other equipment, like kayaks, costs extra. Breakfast is around €40 per person, and lunch and dinner are just as expensive. That night, we chose to see a show outside the hotel, which isn't lively in the evening. We asked the hotel if it would be possible to come back for dinner after our last night, since we hadn't been able to try the restaurant, and they said yes. Three days later, we returned and were surprised by the reception, which was completely different from the first time. The woman who greeted us was particularly condescending; we had to tell her we had a room booked earlier, out of respect. This definitely warrants two fewer stars, and naturally I won't be returning. On the other hand, the person in charge of managing the cafeteria was particularly pleasant, as were the other staff.
