Don't stay at this hotel. The hot water and electricity went out for over 40 hours. Only one elevator remained working for this period, the staff elevator, of which required guests to walk through a working kitchen where hotel workers were actively preparing meals. The alternative was walking down 11 flights of stairs in the dark, not a suitable option as I was traveling with my elderly father. When speaking to the hotel manager at the time, they could not provide a timeline for when the hot water and electricity would return, so guaranteed a reimbursement for the remaining three nights of our stay. After changing hotels, and following up weeks later, they refused to provide a reimbursement for the three days. Instead, they could only offer reimbursement for 'one night', and quoted us with a value that was actually significantly less than the per night fee I paid for. I am still waiting for any money to be returned.

I wanted to thank the InterContinential Hotel for the best service! My mom and I were staying in New Orleans for our first time together, and we did have to move rooms on the first night but they treated us with the utmost respect and kindness, and Donate (apologies if I spell your name wrong) was the BEST front desk service host I have ever had and I have travelled a lot. All of the women were wonderful as well, and always so kind. I loved Trenasse the hotel restaurant, it had the BEST service, and I went there 3 times because of the service. Please keep it up I will be back, and due to the kind ness we had the best overall experience from check in to check out. 10/10. We will be back! Thank you again!!! Mark was also a great manager who offered us a double queen on day 1. Such a great place to stay!!!

What a great hotel. Large rooms, huge covered balcony, outdoor rooftop pool, 24 hour gym and 5 minute walk from all of the action. Friendly service, clean, reasonable price and well organized. This is definitely my goto hotel in NOLA.
