The hotel is great. The bungalow I stayed in was renovated. The decor is simple, but everything is fine. It has covered parking. The resort area is great and has lots of nature. There's a river to cross by ferry operated by the hotel. The hotel has beach service. The pools are clean and very good (cold). The restaurant serves very good food and the service is excellent. The beach water is darker because of the river that flows into it. There are waves, but it's usable for children. Everything is going well. However, there are some things to improve. The floor wasn't completely clean on any of the cleaning days. Under the beds, there was dirt and dust. I, who suffer from allergies, had problems. Is it so difficult to use a broom or vacuum cleaner to ensure everything is clean? The sheets were also beige (from use). The beach chairs were old and dirty. In a "resort" hotel, the chairs should be replaced regularly, not just "when they break," to guarantee comfort. The parasols were also very worn and old. The ferry could have some way to make the work of the employees, who spend all day in the sun pulling a rope to take people to and from the beach, easier. Something electrical or even some improvement to the vessel to make it easier. It's a shame to see the employees doing the job. Now, the worst thing without a doubt is the Wi-Fi. In the rooms (even after complaining and being told they had changed the equipment), the Wi-Fi speed (measured by the "fast" and "speedtest" apps) never exceeded 2Mbps. The regular average is less than 1Mbps. If you need to work or watch a video, forget it. The TV has free-to-air channels that are impossible to watch because they have static, and the smart apps (Netflix, Amazon, etc.) don't work properly due to the Wi-Fi connection. Today, with satellite internet technologies (Starlink, for example), there are no more excuses I've heard (oh, the internet is just bad... oh, there's no good speed here). Starlink internet, for example, can be installed in each room, greatly improving speed and eliminating cables, for example. The internet is by far the worst aspect of the hotel. And nobody seems very interested in improving it. In 2026, not having at least 100Mbps internet is a shame. Oh, and even cell phone reception is poor. In other words, it's offline. I hope they improve because there are solutions and they're easy. Once this internet issue is resolved, I would return because the other points are easy to fix and can be resolved with policies and procedures (and training).
